NORWALK CHINESE SCHOOL (诺沃克中文学校)

Founded in 2006 by a passionate parent from the Norwalk Chinese American community, the Connecticut Chinese Education Association began with one Mandarin class taught by a single parent. Over the years, it has grown into a comprehensive Mandarin learning program, now serving students from grades 1 through 9.Our school collaborates with the College for Kids program at CT Community College in Norwalk (formerly Norwalk Community College), welcoming students ages 6 to 18 to enroll in Mandarin classes, AP courses, traditional Chinese dance, and other cultural programs.We actively engage with the Norwalk community by celebrating traditional Chinese holidays, such as Chinese New Year and Mid-Autumn Festival. Our students showcase their talents at events hosted by Yale University, Norwalk Public Library, and Stamford Public Library during the annual Chinese New Year celebrations.Beginning in 2025, the Connecticut Chinese Education Association officially operates as Norwalk Chinese School, reinforcing our commitment to promoting Mandarin education and cultural exchange in the community.
