2026 SPRING Semester Shuangshuang Chinese Classes

Registration Form

Date: 1/31/2026 - 5/23/2026 

Registration fee: $50

Book fee: $30


The tuition payment is due by January 24, 2026. If you want us to buy textbook for your child, please pay book fee before January 17.    


When class is full, the order of waiting list is determined by payment date. 


NOTE: We offer $30 tuition discount for students who sign up for both Chinese and extra curriculum classes ( three dance classes and three drawing classes are NOT eligible for discount ).  


Tuition Refund Policy: The registration fee is non-refundable. Tuition is non-refundable after the second week.
Tuition for all classes, except for dance classes, is fully refundable before the start of the second week of class.
For the three dance classes, up to 70% of the tuition may be refunded if the withdrawal occurs before the start of the second week of class.  
 

Shuangshuang Chinese 1/Grade 1 - Li Xinhua

Saturday 1:30PM-3:30PM

This is an introductory course for new Chinese learners. This course offers an intensive learning experience in Mandarin Chinese, using the New Shuangshuang method and literature-rich textbooks. The curriculum integrates Chinese culture and literature, providing students with the opportunity to learn both the language and its cultural heritage. Emphasis is placed on developing listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through interactive classroom activities.

Chinese Intermediate Level/Grade 6-7 - Zhou Yating

Tuition: $350

Chinese Geography introduces students to the diverse landscapes, regions, and natural resources of China. The class explores how geography has shaped China’s history, culture, economy, and population distribution. Students gain a deeper appreciation of China’s environmental diversity and its role in the modern world.  

AP Chinese Exam Preparation Class - Yan Han

Saturday 1:00PM-3:00PM

Tuition: $400  

 Prepare with confidence in our AP Chinese Exam Preparation Class, designed to help students succeed on the AP Chinese Language and Culture exam. This class focuses on strengthening reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills while building vocabulary, grammar, and cultural understanding. Through targeted practice, mock exams, and personalized feedback, students will gain the tools and confidence needed to excel on test day.

Chinese Classic Dance I (Age 6 and up) - Chen Kaili

Saturday: 12:00-1:00pm  

Tuition: $280

Collaborating with Li-Garden Dance, this introductory course is designed for students interested in exploring traditional Chinese classical and folk dance. The class emphasizes foundational techniques including footwork, hand gestures, body posture, and facial expression. Students will also engage in stretching and flexibility exercises to support graceful movement. Through dance, participants will gain a deeper appreciation of Chinese language and culture in an engaging and immersive environment. 

Note: Tuition does not include performance-related fees. 

Chinese Classic Dance II (Intermediate-Advanced) - Chen Kaili

Saturday: 10:55-11:55am

Tuition $280 

Collaborating with Li-Garden Dance, this intermediate-level class is designed for students with prior experience in Chinese dance who are ready to advance their skills. The course will focus on more complex combinations of classical and folk dance movements, as well as refining posture, rhythm, and expressive techniques. Students will also begin to explore choreography and stage presentation in preparation for group performances. 

Note: Tuition does not include performance-related fees. 

Dance Stretch (Advanced) - Chen Kaili

Saturday: 9:50-10:50am  

Tuition: $300

Collaborating with Li-Garden Dance, this advanced-level course emphasizes flexibility training and strength building for experienced dance students. Through intensive stretching and technical drills students will enhance their physical abilities and elevate their artistry. 

Chinese Musical Theater Explorer (Grade 1 to 9) - Song Yuting

Saturday: 3:40 - 4:40pm

Tuition: $180 

This Chinese musical theatre course is specially designed for children, combining the three essential elements of performance: Singing, Acting, and Movement. Through fun-filled class activities and imaginative rehearsal experiences, students will develop a deeper appreciation for music, along with artistic expression, self-confidence, and a strong sense of teamwork—all in a joyful and encouraging environment. The course will conclude with a mini showcase, giving every child the chance to shine on stage and celebrate their creativity and growth. 

Note: Tuition does not include performance-related fees. 

Chinese Brush Calligraphy (Grade 1 to 9) - Yuan Chunqing

Start Date: 3/28/2026

Saturday: 3:40-4:40pm

Tuition: $90

Unleash your creativity in our Chinese Brush Calligraphy class for students in Grades 1–9! In this fun and hands-on class, students will learn traditional brush techniques, stroke order, and the meaning behind beautiful Chinese characters. Through guided practice and creative expression, students will build focus, patience, and a deeper appreciation for Chinese culture and art. 

Drawing Class - Shi Kai

Drawing Class (Advanced, Age 12 and up) 

Saturday: 9:00 - 11:00am

Tuition: $500

This drawing class is open to students of all ages who want to develop their artistic skills and creative expression. Participants will explore techniques such as line, shading, perspectives, and composition while work with a variety of subjects. In addition to building confidence and creativity, students will receive guidance on organizing and refining their work to create an art portfolio that showcases their growth and unique style. 

Drawing Class (Intermediate, Age 9 and up) 

Saturday: 9:30 - 11:00am

Tuition: $375


Drawing Class (Beginner, Age 6 and up) 

Saturday: 10:00 - 11:00am

Tuition: $250

American Math Competition (AMC 8) - Zhou Parker

Suggest Grade 5 to 8, exceptional learners can start at Grade 3 and 4 

Saturday: 11am - 12pm

Tuition $180

The AMC 8 course is designed to prepare middle school students for success in the American Mathematics Competition 8, a national math contest that challenges problem-solving and logical reasoning skills. Students will practice past contest questions, explore advanced problem-solving strategies, and strengthen their understanding of number theory, geometry, algebra, and probability. The course aims to build confidence, sharpen critical thinking, and foster a deeper appreciation for mathematics.
