NOTE: We offer $30 tuition discount for students who sign up for both Chinese and extra curriculum classes (three dance classes are not included).  

 This is an introductory course for new Chinese learners. This course offers an intensive learning experience in Mandarin Chinese, using the New Shuangshuang method and literature-rich textbooks. The curriculum integrates Chinese culture and literature, providing students with the opportunity to learn both the language and its cultural heritage. Emphasis is placed on developing listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through interactive classroom activities.

 Thousands of years of history and culture of China have produced many Chinese idioms. Idioms are a treasure of the Chinese language. When teaching students idioms, it is essential to share the story behind the idiom, introduce the historical background, and help students understand the philosophical meaning contained within. This class allows students to experience the conciseness, beauty, humor, and depth of this unique linguistic form.   

 This class introduces students to China's ancient scientific discoveries and inventions through vivid stories—such as the compass, papermaking, movable-type printing, gunpowder, ceramic production, silk weaving techniques, and major accomplishments in medicine, astronomy, and hydraulic engineering. Through these lessons, students will not only gain knowledge of science and technology but also develop a deeper understanding of ancient Chinese culture, geography, and history, thereby enhancing their appreciation of Chinese civilization. 

 The class is for students who have a basic understanding of Chinese culture and a solid foundation in reading and writing, having mastered over 1,000 Chinese characters. The class uses chapters and adapted excerpts from classical masterpieces and modern works, each with distinct styles. The content is engaging, and the perspectives are novel. Through studying this textbook, students can gain initial exposure to various classical and modern Chinese literary works, laying a solid foundation for extensive reading in the future.

 Prepare with confidence in our AP Chinese Exam Preparation Class, designed to help students succeed on the AP Chinese Language and Culture exam. This class focuses on strengthening reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills while building vocabulary, grammar, and cultural understanding. Through targeted practice, mock exams, and personalized feedback, students will gain the tools and confidence needed to excel on test day.

Collaborating with Li-Garden Dance, this introductory course is designed for students interested in exploring traditional Chinese classical and folk dance. The class emphasizes foundational techniques including footwork, hand gestures, body posture, and facial expression. Students will also engage in stretching and flexibility exercises to support graceful movement. Through dance, participants will gain a deeper appreciation of Chinese language and culture in an engaging and immersive environment. Note: Tuition does not include performance-related fees.

Collaborating with Li-Garden Dance, this intermediate-level class is designed for students with prior experience in Chinese dance who are ready to advance their skills. The course will focus on more complex combinations of classical and folk dance movements, as well as refining posture, rhythm, and expressive techniques. Students will also begin to explore choreography and stage presentation in preparation for group performances. Note: Tuition does not include performance-related fees.

Collaborating with Li-Garden Dance, this advanced-level course emphasizes flexibility training and strength building for experienced dance students. Through intensive stretching and technical drills students will enhance their physical abilities and elevate their artistry.

This Chinese musical theatre course is specially designed for children, combining the three essential elements of performance: Singing, Acting, and Movement. Through fun-filled class activities and imaginative rehearsal experiences, students will develop a deeper appreciation for music, along with artistic expression, self-confidence, and a strong sense of teamwork—all in a joyful and encouraging environment. The course will conclude with a mini showcase, giving every child the chance to shine on stage and celebrate their creativity and growth. Note: Tuition does not include performance-related fees.

Unleash your creativity in our Chinese Brush Calligraphy class for students in Grades 1–9! In this fun and hands-on class, students will learn traditional brush techniques, stroke order, and the meaning behind beautiful Chinese characters. Through guided practice and creative expression, students will build focus, patience, and a deeper appreciation for Chinese culture and art.

Unleash your child's creativity with our engaging online drawing class, tailored for young artists from preschool to 5th grade. Through fun, step-by-step lessons, kids will explore various techniques to bring their imaginations to life on paper. Whether they're beginners or budding illustrators, this class offers a supportive environment to develop artistic skills and confidence.

The class features a lively mix of yoga, Pilates, Zumba, and dance, all set to upbeat music that keeps you motivated.
